Naturally, we hope you are happy with the service your Credit Union provides; however, we know that things can sometimes go wrong. As part of Williams Lake and District Credit Union's commitment to you, a formal problem resolution process has been implemented to deal with less than satisfactory situations. Should you have a concern or a complaint about the service the Credit Union provides or the product lines it offers, we want to hear from you! It is important that you advise us when things go wrong so that we can try to make it right and improve our service in the future.

Contact Us

The first step in problem resolution is to contact us. Gather together any relevant paperwork. Pinpoint the date when the problem occurred. Obtain the names of the staff members involved, what the circumstances were and what you would like us to do.

Williams Lake and District Credit Union's complaint handling process will provide fair treatment to members and ensure that complaints are dealt with in a courteous and timely manner. The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can start working on a solution.

If the employee you approach is not able to resolve your concerns, ask to speak to the Branch Manager. If after discussing your concerns with the Branch Manager you feel your issue is still unresolved, or if you are uncomfortable approaching the manager directly, we encourage you to approach our Chief Executive Officer, Jim Zimmerman, who will work with you and management to address your concerns.

Depending on the nature or complexity of the matter at hand, it may require review by the Board of Directors. If you feel this is the case, please submit your concerns to the Board Chair in writing, in care of our Administration branch.
