Williams Lake and District Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, service-focused Senior Loan Administrator to work out of Williams Lake.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Accounting and Centralized Services, you will have at least 5 years experience in loan administration, ideally with some exposure to commercial loans in a Credit Union or Banking environment.

You will support the Commercial and Retail Loan Departments with member-facing activities, all of which are dealt with in a confidential, courteous and professional manner. Loan Administration involves back-office support activities such as recording and processing loan applications, completing departmental reports, conducting credit checks and lien searches as well as registering and releasing security. Further duties include maintaining loan files, preparing and typing routine correspondence, monitoring for required loan account reviews while adhering to all internal policies and procedures.

The Senior Loan Administrator will coach and provide guidance to Loan Administration and Accounting Clerks and new hires.

Qualifications Required

As the ideal candidate you will have relevant tertiary education, possess excellent communication skills and have a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
